Rapper Future is reportedly facing a paternity lawsuit from an ex-man who claims to be the father of his 9-year-old son.
TMZ reports that Future’s ex-girlfriend Layla Sanad is fighting him in court.
Sanad filed suit in Florida seeking an order establishing paternity and requiring him to pay child support, including two years of retroactive child support.
Sanad claims to be in a romantic relationship with Future (real name Naivadius Cash) and that they had a son (identified by his initials KW) in 2017. She claims that Future accepts that he is the father.
Future reportedly responded by filing his own court papers asking for the Florida lawsuit to be dismissed in favor of a “more convenient forum.”
In the filing, Sanad and his son reportedly claim they live in Arizona and have already filed their own lawsuits in the state.
According to the media, the court has not yet ruled on the motion.
In the Arizona case, Future also said he was the father of a son named Kash Wilburn, according to the outlet. He claimed he was voluntarily paying Sanad $3,500 a month in child support.
A representative for Future could not immediately be reached by Page Six.
Future reportedly has at least seven children. He has an 11-year-old son, Future Zahir, with ex Ciara.
The couple got engaged in October 2013, but called it quits in August of the following year, just two months after welcoming their son.
Ciara is currently the mother of four children with her husband, New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson.
