Rachael Ray’s latest cooking video has caused even more concern among fans.
Cookbook author Ray recently posted a video on Instagram of himself using the palm of his hand to measure seasoning on fish, but several social media users took to the comments section to comment not about the dish, but about Ray’s appearance.
“I haven’t seen her in a long time and I’m really wondering… will she be okay?” one person asked.
“Jesus…what happened?” asked another.
“What’s going on here is a health check,” a third netizen commented.
“What on earth happened to her?” asked another.
Several other fans defended Ray from the mean comments.
“Remember…not every thought has to be voiced. If you don’t want to say it to her face, don’t say it,” one user implored.
“A quick Google search will tell you that she has been through some very stressful events and has had several serious falls. Please be kind,” another user wrote.
“She lost her entire house in a fire… Marital issues… Business struggles. Menopause. Good to see her moving on,” a third supporter commented.
“Guys, she hasn’t had an easy day lately. Her mom passed away last year. I’m sending her lots of hugs… Rest assured. You are beautiful Rachel, I love you!!” a fourth fan wrote.
Ray, 57, first raised health concerns in September 2024 when he appeared to have slurred speech during cooking videos.
The following month, the “30 Minute Meals” star revealed that she had recently “taken a few bad falls.”
Then, in July 2025, concerns about Ray continued to grow after he allegedly displayed “strange behavior” at a new gin handshake and bottle signing event.
Not only did the cook show up 20 minutes late, the source claimed, but he also “appeared to have left his seat” as he greeted fans and handed out bottles of gin and baseball caps.
“She was strangely approaching some people and hugging them in an all-too-familiar manner as they took pictures,” a source told the Daily Mail at the time.
“You know how Drew Barrymore acts with celebrity guests on her talk shows, that’s exactly how it is.”
Fans claimed that Ray kept a low profile for several months afterward, but she denied the disappearance.
“I don’t know what they’re saying,” she told Us Weekly at the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival’s Burger Bash in October.
“I always work hard. And I never quit. I just switched to A+E and a new partner. That’s it. But I always keep working.”
