The couple attended the red carpet official of the 9th annual NFL Honors in Miami.

The NFL star defended his girlfriend on Instagram after a commenter wrote rude things about Culpo’s lifestyle and implied she was dating him for money. He said, “1. After playing over five years with the Carolina Panthers, McCaffrey was traded to the San Francisco 49ers. Culpo posted on Instagram: “This city has stolen my heart. I will never forget the memories and people who made the last 3+ years so special. I miss you all so much and you will always hold a special place in my heart 😭.”
The model added, “I’m so proud of you, Christian! Watching your light shine is one of my favorite things in life. I’m so excited and grateful for this next chapter in Cali, which I’ve called home for the past eight years ❤️ Niners Nation, let’s go!”

Culpo said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that he broke his rule of not dating athletes because of McCaffrey.
“He’s just the best. I feel like he really has everything I want,” she explained. “So you don’t have to worry about anything. I think that’s why I didn’t want to date athletes. No offense, there’s a reputation there.”
“He comes from a great family. We have a lot in common in that regard. I feel like you can tell a lot about the kind of person you are by the people who raised you. I really love his parents. They have a great relationship.”
Later that month, on an episode of the Culpo Sisters podcast, she talked about starting a family.
“I’ve talked to Christian and we’re on the same page about having kids. We both want to have kids, but that timeline isn’t in the foreseeable future,” Culpo said. “He’s completely focused on football and he should be. He’s not ready to have kids. It’s not really an option.”

Culpo and McCaffrey welcomed their first child, a baby girl. On July 13, Culpo shared the first photos of her child, including a shot of the family of three at the hospital. She captioned the post with her daughter’s name: “Colette Annalize McCaffrey 🤍.”
