Mido finally appears to be backing away from marrying Debbie on Sunday’s episode of “90 Day Fiancé.”
Mido, 41, and Debbie, 55, have been at loggerheads all season since he moved from Egypt to New Orleans, Louisiana to be with Debbie, but it’s clear he’s more interested in becoming a famous actor in America than actually marrying her.
Sunday’s episode sees Mido trying to land a Hollywood agent named Jason. Mido tells Jason that he wants to become an actor “like Will Smith, Tom Cruise, Denzel Washington, Al Pacino, Brad Pitt.” Jason compliments Mi-do on her appearance, but refuses to work with her.
Jason told him, “I want you to focus on your classes and English for now, and we might definitely be able to build a working relationship in the future.”
Still, Mido is undaunted and insists to the camera that he knows he is a good actor and that he “deserves good reviews.”
When Mido tells Debbie about his conversation with Jason and tells her that he needs to take more classes, Debbie says that she needs to put it on hold because she needs to see if he “stays”. Debbie tells the camera that all Mi-do wants to talk about is his acting career, not their relationship.
“There’s only one month left until his visa expires,” she points out. “He never said anything about marriage.”
“I really don’t like it,” she added. “If Mido doesn’t start showing me he’s 100 percent, we might forget about acting class. He’s going back to Egypt.”
Debbie then surprises Mi-do with a trip to a chapel where they might be able to have a wedding. When Mido tells the owner, Ranna, that he wants to get married within three weeks, he becomes even more uncomfortable.
“Debbie put more pressure on me,” he told the cameras. “It’s like she’s forcing herself on me and I don’t like this way at all.”
After Ranna leaves to give the couple some privacy, Mi-do bombshells Debbie, saying, “It’s a big deal,” and “I need to go back home.”
Shocked, Debbie asks if he’s kidding, but Debbie just shrugs. And he says to her, “I can’t find myself here.”
Debbie becomes extremely distraught and runs out of the chapel. She tells the cameraman “no” and dramatically closes the door before storming out and having a complete meltdown.
Debbie cries loudly and appears to be having a panic attack.
“Oh my god,” she said, sobbing as she collapsed to the floor.
90 Day Fiancé airs Sundays at 8pm ET/PT on TLC.
