Mariska Hargitay will be returning to Madison Square Garden with Taylor Swift.
The “Law & Order: SVU” star, who sat next to Swift in a matching “Stevie Nicks” T-shirt during the Knicks’ narrow Game 4 win over the San Antonio Spurs at MSG on Wednesday, appears to have a suspicious slot open on her calendar just as Swift is about to say “I do.”
Hargitay is currently starring in the Broadway production of Every Brilliant Thing. The one-man show is performed every Friday night, but an eagle-eyed fan pointed out to Page Six that the show would be canceled on July 3, when Page Six exclusively reported that it was the wedding of Swift and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
As Page Six exclusively reported, the wedding will take place over the Fourth of July weekend at the famous arena.
Hargitay and Swift are longtime friends and admirers of each other.
Swift named one of her Scottish Fold cats Olivia Benson, after Hargitay’s character on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” Meanwhile, Hargitay’s cat was named “Karma” after a Swift song.
Hargitay also appeared in Swift’s celebrity-heavy music video “Bad Blood” in 2015, along with friends including Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid.
She also appeared on stage with Swift during the 2015 “1989” World Tour at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. And she was part of Swift’s team at the MTV VMAs that year.
Alana Haim and Este Haim also joined Swift and Hargitay in Game 4 wearing ruffled T-shirts that read “Nickelback” and “Nicole Kidman.”
Hargitay sprinted to make it to the game right after the 85-minute Broadway performance.
“We cut the show’s running time by four minutes and knew there would be a lot of traffic, so we sprinted from the Hudson Theater to MSG on the 44th and 6th,” Hargitay told The Hollywood Reporter. “But I was wearing the Jalen Brunson Kobe 5 Protos that Jalen gave me a few months ago, so I knew everything was going to be fine. But I’m not going to lie. That 10-block sprint after the day of the two shows was no joke.”
She added: “I love my husband. Our wedding night was amazing, maybe the best night of my life.”
