Kyle Cooke teamed up with Amanda Batula at the premiere of ‘In the City,’ and he doesn’t regret it.
The Loverboy creator was slammed by Bravo fans after he criticized him for posing with his estranged wife on Monday’s red carpet celebrating the “Summer House” spinoff.
“Hey everyone, that’s right, Amanda and I took a photo together,” Cook, 43, said in a glowing comment he uploaded to his Instagram Story early Tuesday morning.
“I was really happy that she showed up,” he added of his 34-year-old ex-girlfriend.
“She almost never came to the shows she attended,” Cook continued. “Please shoot me.”
He particularly criticized those who saw their reunion and called his “marriage breakdown a sham.”
“With all due respect, we are all adults here and we all attended the premiere party,” he added. “Well, Amanda didn’t want to come, so I convinced her to come and we took a picture together.”
Mr. Cook concluded by telling his haters to “grow more shit.”
The former couple celebrated the new series on Monday with Lindsay Hubbard and other co-stars.
The show was announced in September 2025 and was filmed after production on “Summer House” wrapped last fall.
Page Six broke the news that Batula and Cook were separating in November 2025, and two months later they announced their separation in a joint statement.
The Bravolebrities, who married in September 2021, wrote at the time, “After much consideration, we have mutually decided to amicably separate as husband and wife.”
In March, there were rumors that Batula had broken up with then-best friend Ciara Miller’s ex-boyfriend West Wilson, but later that same month it was confirmed that Batula and sports journalist West Wilson, 31, were in a “relationship”.
In his first interview about the shocking romance, Cook said he was “really concerned” about Batula.
“Amanda knows what she did was wrong and she’s trying to accept that,” he said in April. “She’s not feeling well.”
He later accused Wilson of not having Batula’s back during their “brutal” season 10 reunion.
Despite the public backlash, Wilson and Batula are still going strong and have been photographed multiple times on date nights in Manhattan, with Cook responding to PDA at a New York Yankees game with a puke emoji.
In addition to Batula and Cooke’s breakup, In the City will also explore the aftermath of their explosive relationship.
