Hudson Williams’ new Peloton ad is making fans of “Heated Rivalry” feel a little heated and annoying.
The 25-year-old actor opens the campaign, which was released on Tuesday, with him taking a few steps on a treadmill wearing tiny white shorts.
The camera then pans to his sweat-glistening abs as he lifts a matching white tank top to wipe it off his face.
Suddenly, snapping the waistband, Williams turned on the charm as she ran through a series of workouts, twists, and dance turns choreographed by Tyrik Patterson.
To the tune of David Bowie’s “Fame,” the star, whose own fame reached new heights with the success of the HBO Max drama, moves around the screen surrounded by several versions of herself doing various exercises.
The film ends with a close-up of a sweaty Williams staring into the camera while trying to catch his breath.
“Working out makes me feel more confident about myself. If I ever feel like my brain is foggy or life is stacked against me, working out clears everything up,” Williams told People about her partnership with the workout company.
In a press release, he explained that the campaign “feels very much in line with my beliefs. It’s amazing what fitness can do for your life. I think everyone needs a form of exercise that frees them up.”
Of course, it didn’t take long for fans to become uncomfortable with the actor’s flirtatious commercial performance, with many commenting that Williams was capitalizing on his sex appeal.
One netizen wrote about the ad, “I didn’t know what to expect from a Peloton ad other than Hudson being cool lol. But this is honestly iconic.” “I love how smooth and comfortable all his movements are. It’s very well shot. He looks like he can actually dance.”
Meanwhile, a second Reddit user wrote: “I bet no one’s watching that Peloton.”
“Wait, is this so much fun? Give me more ads like this, give me all the hot people having fun and doing their thing,” another added.
But fans of Williams’ new ad may need to calm down, as the actor is off the market.
In February, the Rivals star, who is expected to return to the Crave series for Season 2 (currently scheduled for release in spring 2027, according to Deadline), celebrated Valentine’s Day by gushing about his relationship with his girlfriend through his Instagram Stories.
“Happy Valentine’s Day,” Williams captioned a montage of himself and his girlfriend. “He’s been with me since Gold Mazda’s apprenticeship in 2000, but he smokes and cries and doesn’t have a job.”
