Justin Baldoni’s former “Jane the Virgin” co-star Gina Rodriguez will co-star in a drama with Blake Lively.
Rodriguez expressed his support for Justin and his wife Emily in the comments section of his new Instagram video, in which the pair broke their silence on their “It’s Ending With Us” legal battle.
“I love you my friend,” Rodriguez, 41, wrote.
“Por vida” means “for life” in Spanish, she added.
Fellow Jane the Virgin alum Brett Dier also supported the Bardots, writing: “Love you all” with two red heart emojis.
Justin and Rodriguez, 42, played lovers on Jane the Virgin, which aired on The CW from 2014 to 2019.
Months before Lively sued Justin for sexual harassment in December 2024, Rodriguez called the actor and director her “forever brother” in an interview with People magazine.
Rodriguez also said that Justin is “absolutely the most in touch” of the show’s cast members.
Justin and Lively, 38, were embroiled in a two-year legal battle stemming from the 2024 film It Ends with Us, but the pair reached a settlement on May 4, just two weeks before the trial was scheduled to begin.
In a video shared on Wednesday, Justin and Emily, 41, said they had “immeasurable gratitude” to those who supported them during their legal battle.
But Emily said the couple faced “injustice and pain” as a result of Lively’s accusations against Baldoni, which were “masquerading as a fight for women.”
Justin explained that they waited so long to speak out because they “didn’t want to make a fuss” and “wanted to let the justice system take its course.”
The “Five Feet Apart” director also told fans that the couple is still “healing” from the “traumatic” experience.
Page Six previously confirmed that neither Justin nor Lively made any money from the settlement.
However, both stars’ legal teams made a combined $60 million in lawsuits and counterclaims against each other, sources told Page Six Hollywood.
Weeks after the settlement was reached, Lively took Justin back to court, demanding he pay more than $8 million in legal fees in the case.
“Gossip Girl” alum Taylor Swift and her husband Ryan Reynolds were not invited to their wedding last weekend as the former best friend dragged her into a legal battle with Baldoni.
