Fortyseven Communications (47), owned by The Keywords Studios, opens a London office and launches a global creation relations division. These two developments come as the gaming and entertainment-focused PR firm celebrates its 20th anniversary.
As part of the London expansion, 47 UK sister agencies, Indigo Pearl, will be combined into 47 teams.
According to 47, the changes “ensure that customers continue to receive the customized, hands-on care that Indigo Pearl is known for, enhanced by a growing local team and access to all of 47’s capabilities.”
Craig Sinel, executive vice president and co-founder of 47, has relocated to London to lead 47’s London office. 47 says the office “offers North American scale with deep British and European fluency to meet the growing demand for transatlantic integration programs.”
Led by YouTube and Twitch star Meghan Camarena (known to fans as Strawburry17), 47’s new creator relations program is “rooted in 47’s storytelling roots” and aims to be “built around the way creators work and audience responses: real voices, thoughtful programming, and partnerships that last longer than a single post.”
“We are proud of our 20-year track record and are grateful to everyone who has helped build 47 over the years,” Sibel Snar, founder and CEO of 47 Communications, said in a statement Thursday. “This anniversary marks the start of a new era for us. Bringing 47 people to the UK in leadership, welcoming the incredible Indigo Pearl team and launching new creative activities opens up a whole new world of creative firepower and reach for our clients.”
