Big girls cry.
Fergie had an emotional reunion with her Black Eyed Peas “brothers” at the 2026 American Music Awards in Las Vegas on Monday.
The “London Bridge” singer, 51, took to the stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena with former bandmates Will.i.am, Aple de Apu and Tabu to accept the award for Best Nostalgic Song.
“What a moment,” Fergie said of celebrating 2010’s “Rock That Body” with “long-time friends.”
Holding the hands of will.i.am and apl.de.ap, she thanked social media users for creating TikTok and Instagram videos using their music.
The “Fergalicious” crooner said, “Sometimes the content you create is so big and the emotions are so big for me that it’s overwhelming to watch, because there’s so much love that you’re putting into it. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I get it. You’re so serious.”
She joked that her and ex-husband Josh Duhamel’s 12-year-old son Axl finally “put that song on his playlist.”
Fergie cheered on the preteen, exclaiming, “Now I get to say this. Finally, I finally get to say this on TV. Hey Axl! Rock That Body!”
The Black Eyed Peas were formed in 1992, three years after will.i.am and Apul de Ap began performing together as Atvan Klan.
More than a decade later, and after producing numerous hits from “Pump It” to “Boom Boom Pow,” rumors swirled that Fergie might be leaving the group.
Will.i.am confirmed his departure from the band in 2017.
She previously left the band to pursue solo music, but returned to the Black Eyed Peas after releasing “The Dutchess” in 2006.
“There is no one to replace Fergie. She is currently working on a solo project (‘Double Duchess’),” Will.i.am said at the time, but Fergie was later replaced by J. Ray Soule.
Fergie never returned to the band, but announced her divorce from Duhamel, 53, that same year.
The former couple finalized their divorce in 2019, and he shares son Shepard, 2, and newborn daughter Rocca with wife Audra Mari.
Fergie made headlines earlier this month when she celebrated the birth of a baby girl on Instagram.
She and Duhamel have a “great” co-parenting dynamic, the “Ransom Canyon” star shared with “The Megyn Kelly Show” viewers in March.
“She’s a wonderful mother,” he said, while pointing out elsewhere that while he was married to a “big star,” he felt as if he was living in her “shadow.”
