American Eagle’s newest denim darling will be a staple in your jean shorts this summer.
Ella Langley shared a behind-the-scenes look at her latest American Eagle campaign on Friday, giving fans another glimpse at the country-inspired partnership that helped make her one of the denim retailer’s newest faces.
The singer captioned the post with a series of denim-inspired photos taken inside a rustic barn, where she modeled the brand’s latest shorts while leaning into her signature country aesthetic.
Langley started filming with mirror selfies inside the barn.
The Alabama native wore a fitted white tank top tucked into dark wash denim shorts and accessorized with white cowboy boots. She accessorized her look with a large turquoise butterfly necklace, matching ring, and loose brunette waves with bangs as hay bales and a weathered wooden wall created a backdrop behind her.
Another photo showed Langley stretching out on a hay bale while modeling the same denim look.
The country singer lay face down on a patterned blanket, kicked up one cowboy boot and smiled for the camera.
The 27-year-old country star struck another pose while kneeling on a bale of hay.
The singer put one hand on her head and smiled for the camera as a rustic barn and stacks of hay created a classic country backdrop.
Fans quickly filled the comments section with praise for Langley and her latest American Eagle look.
“Ella Langley has great jeans,” one user joked, a playful nod to American Eagle’s headline-grabbing Sidney Sweeney campaign.
Another wrote: “AE has Ella and Sydney. They’re at peak level.”
A third fan referenced Langley’s music, commenting, “I’m drinking a bottle of wine after watching this,” in reference to her song “Be Her.”
Mr. Langley joined American Eagle’s roster of ambassadors in February, becoming the retailer’s latest “denim darling,” following word of Mr. Sweeney’s partnership with the brand.
The partnership was especially meaningful to Langley, who grew up wearing the company’s denim in Alabama.
“These are pictures of me growing up wearing American Eagle shorts that my mom surprised me with. Those were the first denim I loved,” Langley previously told People magazine. “American Eagle has always been about being yourself, and that’s what I really try to convey in my music. My everyday style is pretty relaxed, a little outdoorsy, and always about comfort, so it felt right to work with a brand that celebrates that.”
At the time, American Eagle told FOX News Digital that the collaboration reflected the growing crossover between fashion and country music.
“Ella and AE’s partnership reflects the growing crossover between fashion and country culture, especially among Gen Z, where authenticity, nostalgia and effortless personal style continue to resonate,” a company spokesperson told FOX News Digital. “Known for her relaxed and confident way of dressing, Ella brings a natural, lively energy to classic American Eagle staples in her first major fashion campaign.”
The campaign marks American Eagle’s biggest collaboration with a major artist in country music and featured Langley across the retailer’s online, in-store and social media platforms. Her curated collection includes bootcut jeans, denim shorts, skirts, jackets, and vests inspired by her laid-back Southern style.
The partnership also follows the retailer’s widely discussed campaign with Sweeney. American Eagle’s 2025 release of “Sidney Sweeney Has Great Jeans” sparked a debate online for its play on the words “jeans” and “genes,” and the company endorsed the campaign and later reunited with Sweeney for a second collaboration focused on denim, with a focus on jean shorts.
For American Eagle, Langley’s appointment reflects the growing influence of country music among young consumers. Craig Bromers, the company’s chief marketing officer, previously told Women’s Wear Daily that Langley “represents a new wave of country music” and resonates with young women because of her authenticity and confidence.
Since joining the brand, Langley’s career has continued to reach new heights. This week, she became the first female artist to simultaneously top Billboard’s Hot 100, Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts with her hit song “Choosin’ Texas.”
The song was also the best-selling single in the United States, spending 11 weeks at number one on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart, tying Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” for the longest reign at number one in the chart’s history.
