Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart reunited at Hart’s Netflix roast before the Jumanji co-stars went on set for the R-rated featurette, which centered on Hart’s wife Eniko.
Following a dramatic stage entrance complete with special effects and Queen’s “We Will Rock You” as the soundtrack, Johnson wasted no time in delivering a comedic punch. “Now, I know you all think I’m here to haul Kevin Hart’s shitty car again, but only this time, that’s not the case,” he said. “Actually, the reason I’m here tonight is because someone needs to chew up Kevin’s food and spit it in his mouth. Right? My little chocolate baby bird.”
Johnson continued to refer to Hart as a “little burnt Oompa Loompa” before shifting his focus to Hart’s wife. “I’d like to take a moment to shout out to the women on this stage. You all look beautiful, amazing, and sexy. You know who else looks sexy? Eniko, Kevin’s wife.”
When Hart declared, “Oh my god,” Johnson responded, “I’m just complimenting her!”
Johnson went on to say that Eniko “deserves an Academy Award for pretending to like having sex with you,” and suggested that together they “open a bottle of tequila and… stop fidgeting, Kevin!” He also explained that he finally understood why women love hearts. “Because he’s the same size and color as a woman’s favorite dildo, and the little shit is twice as loud.”
Chelsea Handler chimed in, writing, “Don’t you think it’s time for Eniko to be with someone bigger than himself?”
“I love you. Yes, I love you,” Johnson told Hart as he concluded the roast. “To prove it, just last week I got a Kevin Hart tattoo on my dick. Yeah, a life-sized one too…Eniko, I’ll show you it later. Just kidding. She’s already seen it!”
Hart shot back: “Why would you say that about my wife? I’d like to talk to you later.”
“But you’re the one who said, ‘Hey, listen, say whatever you want!'” Johnson responded.
Johnson and Hart have co-starred in numerous films, including “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,” “Jumanji: The Next Level,” and “Central Intelligence.” They are set to reunite this Christmas for the third and final Jumanji movie, Jumanji: Open World.
Other special guests at Heart’s Roast included Venus and Serena Williams, Lizzo and Tom Brady, and a roster of comedians and actors including Tony Hinchliffe, Pete Davidson, Draymond Green, Tiffany Haddish, Sheryl Underwood, Regina Hall, and Naim Lin.
The live roast was hosted by Shane Gillis and filmed inside the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. The ceremony took place on the final night of Netflix Is a Joke Fest, Sunday at 5pm PT.
