Dorit Kemsley wants her estranged husband, PK Kemsley, to remember the good times in their failed marriage.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star spoke about her new memoir, “Unburdened,” on Page Six’s “Virtual Real-Tea” Wednesday, and said that what she wants PK to take away from the book is to remember their deep history together.
“I really hope this piece helps him remember who he and I were, who we were, the love we shared, the bond we shared,” she said.
Dorit and PK have two children, son Jagger, 12, and daughter Phoenix, 10. Dorit said the two needed to put aside their differences to successfully co-parent.
“Let go of the grudges, anger, and hurt,” she said. “Really, at the end of the day, none of it matters. And there are so many better things to do if we can be friends and co-parent our children effectively.”
She added, “So I really hope he remembers the good things because he feels like he’s stuck in a place where he only thinks about the negative.”
Dorit also said that PK hasn’t shown any interest in reading her memoir and hasn’t congratulated her on it yet.
“I’m sure there was a part of him that was a little nervous,” she mused. “But you know, we’ll see.”
Dorit, 49, and PK, 58, separated in May 2024 after nearly 10 years of marriage.
At the time, they said in a joint statement: “In order to protect our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children, we have made the mutually difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship, while prioritizing our children.”
Dorit filed for divorce in April of the following year, hours after PK was spotted kissing another reality star, Shanna Wall, who appeared on CBS’s “The Amazing Race.”
The divorce has been controversial ever since. In a court filing obtained by Page Six last month, PK claimed that Dorit spent more than $1 million on designer items even though her Los Angeles home was at risk of foreclosure.
It also claimed that despite the cost of travel and designer items, she has not made any mortgage payments on her home and, despite having had “exclusive occupancy” of the residence since April 2024, has only made “one related utility bill payment” during that period.
TMZ reports that the ex-couple’s home, which they bought in 2019, has more than $6 million in mortgage debt.
