Dianna Russini and husband Kevin Goldschmidt were photographed kissing in public for the first time since her scandal with Mike Vrabel on Mother’s Day.
Photos obtained exclusively by Page Six show the former ESPN reporter and the Shake Shack executive embracing warmly in front of his New Jersey home on Sunday.
Russini, who said “I do” to Goldschmidt in 2020, appeared to be holding the youngest of her two sons on her hip.
“People in the community say they have been very resilient as a family,” a source told Page Six. Throughout the scandal, the married duo have been spotted together at children’s activities and other family events.
“They weren’t hiding,” the source added.
The 43-year-old NFL insider has been in the headlines ever since she and Vrabel, 50, were photographed dancing hand-in-hand at an Arizona resort in March, according to exclusive photos obtained by Page Six.
During the same trip, the two were also spotted relaxing together by the pool and eating breakfast on the patio.
Russini and Vrabel (who has been married to his wife Jen since 1999) claimed they went on the trip with a friend who was not pictured, despite multiple witnesses to Page Six disputing that claim.
“These photos show a completely innocent interaction and any suggestion otherwise is laughable and deserves no further response,” Vrabel told Us in a statement at the time.
In his statement, Russini added, “The photo does not represent the group of six people who were together during the day. Like most NFL journalists, our reporters interacted with sources away from the stadium and other venues.”
The photo scandal led to the journalist stepping down from his role as The Athletic’s senior NFL insider, while Vrabel announced he would miss Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft to “seek counseling.”
Soon after, Page Six published a photo of the pair relaxing in a dimly lit bar in New York City in 2020.
A source said Russini and Vrabel were “kissing” and “putting their bodies on top of each other.”
Additionally, last week, photos surfaced of Russini and Vrabel spending time on a private boat trip in Putnam County, Tennessee in 2021.
At the time, the sports reporter was apparently pregnant with her first child.
Sources told TMZ that Russini and Vrabel were believed to be the only two people on the boat and were reluctant to have their photos taken.
Amid the scandal, Vrabel remained the Patriots’ head coach. The NFL team issued the following statement in April:
“The New England Patriots fully support Mike Vrabel’s decision to put his family first, as well as his own health. Mike has been transparent about his commitment to be the best version of himself for his family, team and fans, and we respect the steps he is taking to follow through on that commitment.”
Additionally, Vrabel receives support from several team members, including Christian Gonzalez.
“That’s my coach,” the cornerback told reporters during a press conference earlier this month. “He’s someone I go out and play with and he’s proven what he can do as a coach. That’s my player and I’ll always be right behind Vlaves.”
