As befits an advertisement for the morning-after pill, we have made an unfortunate mistake and would like it to be revoked as soon as possible.
It turns out that Chet Hanks’ ideas were all wrong.
With his rap career, appearances on reality TV, and the acting careers of his father and brother, Hanks is often thought of as something of a dummy.
And we ourselves may have that impression. But that all changed.
Page Six has a newfound respect for the Hollywood heir after learning he is set to star in an ad campaign that pokes fun at his image.
The ad targets Julie for the morning-after pill and has the tagline: “Having a stupid boyfriend is a universal experience. You don’t have to be the father of your child.”
Hats off to you, Hanks.
Influencer Harry Batchelder also appears in the campaign, and is reportedly known internally as “I’m With Stupid.”
This pill was introduced by Julie Schott, who invented the StarFace acne patch.
Hanks broke out of that image around 2011 after bursting onto the scene under the hip-hop alias Chet Haze. In 2024, she also appeared on the celebrity reality series “The Surreal Life.”
But he actually has a solid acting history, having appeared in Netflix’s hit show Running Points, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Shameless, Atlanta, Your Excellency, and other acclaimed series.
