Bunny Zaw’s ex-husband has pulled the curtain on their marriage, turning a “very strange” marriage into a “nightmare” one.
Francisco “Frankie” Lombardo opened up to the Daily Mail on Tuesday about how he first met Bunny Zoe, who recently split from her estranged husband Jelly Roll, in 2009 through MySpace.
She was married to Christopher Gilbert at the time, but they divorced later that year, while Lombardo was dating another man.
When the two went drinking, Bunny Zoe allegedly told him, “I want to flirt with you,” and Lombardo moved in with her the following week.
Lombardo denied any wrongdoing and recalled filing for divorce with Gilbert.
“It was really weird,” he recalled. “He’s a normal guy, a bit of an odd guy. And I think they have a bit of a checkered past, but I was happy to give the guy a newspaper. I’ll never forget it.”
He and Bunny Zaw, 46, tied the knot in February 2010 in Hawaii.
After their Valentine’s Day wedding, Lombardo went on to have a “very adventurous” marriage with his “fuckin’ best friend” and “good wife.”
But he was “very jealous” of Bunny Zoe’s sugar daddies. That’s what she told Lombardo “right away.”
“She had never met them. They lived out of state. … I wanted her to myself. There were definitely arguments and things like that going on.”
Lombardo cited the fact that her parents and sister moved in as a reason for their eventual separation, noting that she lost her home after her mother and father were charged with fraud and sentenced to one year of probation.
“(It) completely destroyed our relationship, and I think ultimately it had a huge impact on how I handled things,” he told the outlet, calling that period the “low point” of his life.
The former couple filed for divorce in 2014, and Bunny Zaw continued a relationship with an abusive man, which she described in her February memoir “Stripped Down.”
“Bunny was the only girl who broke my heart,” Lombardo said. “She left me for another man, and…(it) destroyed my life in a way. And she was with a man who beat her, and it was a terrible nightmare.”
A representative for Bunny Zaw did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The former OnlyFans creator met Jelly Roll in 2015 and they married at a chapel in Las Vegas the following year.
Earlier this month, news broke that Bunny Zoe and the country singer, 41, had ended their relationship in May.
The host of the “Dumb Blonde” podcast broke her silence about the breakup on Thursday’s episode, saying the Grammy winner is already dating again and plans to welcome a child through IVF.
“My husband and I intend to end this marriage on the best terms possible,” she told listeners. “We’re literally trying to settle a divorce, and what? We got it done in three weeks? We got it done in two weeks?”
When Split News broke, Lombardo told Page Six that he had “unfinished business” with Bunny Zoe and that he had an “interesting friendship” with him and that he “talks every day.”
