Brooklyn Beckham takes a fresh swipe at his estranged parents, David and Victoria Beckham, in a full-length DoorDash World Cup ad.
In the original teaser released on Monday, 27-year-old Nepo Baby talks about why he’s “watching the 2026 FIFA World Cup at home” before tossing his World Cup tickets on the coffee table. “It’s a long story.”
The full commercial, released Wednesday, shows Brooklyn handing a World Cup ticket to a DoorDash delivery driver.
“It’s not like I don’t have a ticket, it’s just… it’s a long story,” he tells the camera as he heads to the front door.
After handing over the ticket, Brooklyn told the delivery man, “This… can go to someone else.”
When the driver left, Brooklyn yelled, “Hey! Leave me somewhere happy.”
The ad’s Instagram caption read: “@doordash has asked us to drop off tickets to the FIFA World Cup 2026 for you all… Happy hunting. Follow @doordash for clues on where to find them. xx.”
In the comments, fans slammed former soccer player and Spice Girls alum Brooklyn.
“Well, whoever keeps saying he doesn’t want anything to do with his family…I’m sure he likes to keep making bargains,” one fan wrote.
Another person told Brooklyn, “If you don’t want to deal with your parents…move on. Unfortunately, it happens. People will respect that…but this? Shows no class and immaturity.”
Another critic slammed Brooklyn, calling him a “vicious nepot crybaby”, while another called the ad a “bad move” and claimed Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz, 27, was “the mastermind behind it all”.
Page Six has reached out to representatives for David, Victoria, Brooklyn and Peltz for comment.
David, 51, and Victoria, 52, who appeared in a Super Bowl ad for DoorDash competitor Uber Eats two years ago, attended the 2026 FIFA World Cup game between the United States and Paraguay at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on June 12.
The couple were joined in the star-studded suite by friend Tom Cruise.
On the same day, David was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Victoria and her children Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14, were on hand to cheer on the famous athlete.
Brooklyn and his wife were absent from the event, even though they were only 20 minutes apart.
After the ceremony, 14-year-old Harper appeared to be trying to reconcile with her estranged brother as she was photographed arriving at Brooklyn and Peltz’s Los Angeles home.
But Harper was unable to meet her brother, who was in New York when her sister showed up.
A representative for the couple told Page Six: “The fact that a cameraman was on the scene when the letter was handed out tells us everything. This was staged for the cameras.”
But a source insisted there was nothing orchestrated about Harper’s visit and that Victoria is “devastated” by the family drama.
“This has been incredibly painful and confusing for them,” a source said of the Beckham parents.
“They honestly don’t know what went wrong or how they got into this relationship.”
