A month after undergoing emergency surgery for an organ cyst, Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia is speaking out about the next steps in the “nightmare” she’s enduring.
“I just had my first post-op appointment and it went great. I’m fine,” the influencer began in a TikTok video on Wednesday.
But to receive a proper diagnosis of endometriosis, Lapaglia, 26, said she would need another laparoscopic surgery.
According to the Mayo Clinic, endometriosis is “an often painful condition in which tissue similar to the endometrium grows outside the uterus.”

“It’s crazy that they didn’t do that test when I had emergency surgery three weeks ago,” LaPaglia continued. “They thought they were killing two birds with one stone.”
The podcaster admitted it would be “crazy” to undergo a second surgery just to find out if he has the disease.
“Is it worth it to have another surgery? What can I do once I have the surgery? Just birth control. Nothing. This sucks. It really sucks.”
The media personality said it was strange that her doctor “didn’t have any answers” even though she was “amazing”.
By the end of the clip, LaPaglia has decided “I don’t want to have another surgery.”
After her surgery, the internet personality also admitted that she currently doesn’t have health insurance and joked that she hasn’t answered the phone to pay her hospital bills.
Last month, the New Yorker opened up about the terrifying ordeal in a TikTok video, explaining that she was rushed to the emergency room the day before due to excruciating pain.
After eating Taco Bell with the mystery man she was meeting, LaPaglia woke up in the middle of the night in pain and began vomiting.
“I was lying on the bathroom floor, literally convulsing,” she said.
When doctors arrived at the hospital, they claimed her pain was caused by eating fast food, but a vaginal ultrasound revealed that Lapaglia had a large cyst on her ovary.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, people with ovarian torsion have large cysts that cause the ovaries to torsion.
Lapaglia was then taken by ambulance to another hospital where he underwent emergency surgery.
“I had half a liter of blood in my pelvic floor, and that’s basically where all the pain was coming from,” she said.
At the time, LaPaglia praised the man she was on a “kind of date with” and called the way he handled the situation “amazing.”
But on Monday, the social media star revealed in a TikTok video that the two ended their relationship after finding out he was “dating” another woman.
“I’m not mad at[my]feelings for him. I’m more mad at the way he treats himself,” she confessed.
The “Pran Buri” host publicly broke up with Zach Bryan in October 2024 after dating for over a year.
The 30-year-old country singer married Samantha Leonard in December 2025.
In the year since then, many fans have taken to social media to compare how similar his wife is to LaPaglia.
