Blake Lively attended the FIFA World Cup finals with her non-celebrity girlfriends on Sunday, after being publicly snubbed for her recent wedding to ex-best friend Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
The 38-year-old actress was all smiles in a selfie she and her gal pals posted to their Instagram Stories during the big game between Spain and Argentina (Spain won 1-0). Lively wore a striped button-up shirt, a white tank top underneath, light wash jeans and sunglasses.
Lively’s group included Stoney Clover Lane founders Kendall and Libby Glaser and her longtime friend Emma Gray.
Her husband, Ryan Reynolds, 49, is not pictured.
Lively was conspicuously absent from Swift’s star-studded wedding, which included Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Tom Brady and Brad Pitt, at Madison Square Garden in New York City earlier this month.
On the night of the rehearsal dinner, Lively and Reynolds, who was once very close to Swift before her long-running legal battle with It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni, were photographed cheering on her daughter Betty as she competed at a horse show in Lake Placid, New York.
A week after their wedding, the couple was spotted out of the country having lunch on the rooftop of a Mexican restaurant in Canada.
A source told Page Six last month that Lively was not invited to the pop star’s wedding due to a rift stemming from Lively’s legal battle with Baldoni.
“There was no olive branch when it came to their friendship,” the source said. “And Taylor hasn’t given Blake a wedding invitation.”
A source previously told Page Six that Swift, 36, needed “space” from her because her name was involved in a lawsuit between Lively and Baldoni, 42.
Taylor “is currently walking away from their friendship. Taylor is really hurt by this whole situation and feels like a pawn,” a source said at the time.
“Taylor wants nothing to do with this entire ordeal,” they added. “She has always been a loyal friend of Blake’s and does not welcome being dragged into something like this at all.”
Lively and Baldoni’s lawsuit ended in a surprise settlement in May.
However, even after the settlement, the two are still fighting in court. Mr. Baldoni last week objected to Mr. Lively’s request to pay more than $8 million in legal fees.
The “Jane the Virgin” alum called the number “excessive” and asked the judge to reduce it in court documents obtained by Page Six.
