On Friday, music producer Benny Blanco posted a tribute to Selena Gomez on his Instagram Stories. In the image, she is lounging on a deck-like area wearing a white swimsuit on a sunny day. Her hair is tied up in a bun with small golden rings. Blanco lies on the deck below and leans in to talk to him.
Above the photo, he wrote: “The most beautiful girl in the world.”
The day before, Blanco appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and shared stories from his wedding weekend with his now-wife. Blanco said Gomez was horrified ahead of the September 2025 ceremony in Montecito, California, when she realized she had placed her handwritten vows in the wrong place.
“She was crying because she couldn’t find (them),” Blanco said, adding that they hadn’t been found for nearly a week. But he saved the day.
“I found it right before the wedding!” he said. “I didn’t see it. I closed my eyes and gave it to her. I swear! I didn’t see it.”
Gomez was very grateful.
“But how great it was, it looked great,” Blanco said. “It was like the best thing I could do. I’m going to marry her and then find something?”
On February 27, Gomez also paid tribute to her husband on Instagram, sharing a video of them kissing and writing, “I love you more and more every day, my love.”
In February 2025, Blanco and Gomez shared a joint conversation in an interview. Explaining how he knew Gomez was the one, Blanco said, “It was easy. When you think you’ve met the right person, you think, ‘Oh my god.’ But it feels so different. The moment we started dating, I thought, “This is my wife.” I said to my mother, “This is the woman I am going to marry.” ”
