The mysterious cowboy beauty played by Bella Hadid turns out to be project manager Nathan Lacey.
“She has someone she’s dating, but he’s someone she’s just starting to get to know,” a source told Daily Mail Friday about the model’s relationship with Lacey.
“So don’t get too excited. I think she’s just trying to have company. She’s not trying to get married or be anything more than what she is.”
Another source said Lacey, 38, is from Colorado and comes from a prominent local family with a reputation for being “very Catholic, very conservative, very red-haired.”
The Lacey family owns a construction company in Crested Butte, Colorado, and Nathan has worked for the company since he was a “young child,” according to the website.
The source added that Lacey has earned a reputation as a “local enthusiast.”
Page Six has reached out to Hadid’s representatives for comment.
Hadid and Lacey were first spotted together in February in Milan, Italy. Photos obtained by Page Six show the two leaving the restaurant together, with Hadid stopping to sign autographs.
According to the Daily Mail, Hadid has since been spotted hanging out in Lacey’s hometown.
Her new relationship comes months after a “tumultuous” two-year relationship with cowboy boyfriend Adan Banuelos.
“The Adan thing took a lot out of her. She really loved him and he loved her, but it didn’t work out,” a source told the outlet. “She was hurt and it took her a while to get over it. She said she wasn’t going to be in a relationship for at least a year so she wouldn’t have to go through that again.”
Days after news of their breakup broke in January, Hadid and Banuelos were photographed dancing at a bar in Weatherford, Texas, and hours later, Hadid was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and released from Parker County Jail on bail on $386.
The two were spotted together again in April, sparking rumors that they were getting back together.
At the time, Hadid and the professional equestrian became friends at a celebrity haircut event at the Taylor Sheridan Ranch in Texas.
Snapshots obtained by TMZ showed the pair sitting close together and chatting at the event. Banuelos and Hadid both wore cowboy hats during their outing.
However, a source exclusively told us in February that the former couple’s on-again, off-again dynamic is due to differences in their lifestyles.
“She is the daughter of Mohamed Hadid and Yolanda Hadid,” a source said, referring to Hadid’s multi-billionaire real estate mogul father and reality TV star mother. “The way they grow is completely different.”
The supermodel, among others, briefly moved into Banuelos’ trailer in Texas, but sources say they ultimately couldn’t shake the differences that came with Hadid’s jet-setting lifestyle.
“She’s doing a lot of things, including campaigns,” a source said. “When she goes into supermodel mode, an average person can’t keep up.”
“She’s tried to let him into her life, and it’s all cute, but he’s in a very closed world of rodeos,” they further explained. “He tried, but it was too much.”
The two started dating in the fall of 2023 after meeting at a horse show in Fort Worth, Texas.
Hadid began their relationship in earnest on Valentine’s Day in 2024.
