This apple certainly didn’t fall far from the tree.
Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter Apple Martin is following in her famous mother’s footsteps and is set to make her feature film debut in Nancy Meyers’ new film Paris Paramount.
Photos taken from the set on Thursday show the young actress channeling Paltrow as she works on set with Owen Wilson, Rich Sommer, Erin Doherty and Tony Hale.
In the snap, Martin, who just graduated from Vanderbilt University in May, is seen walking through an outdoor Los Angeles scene wearing an orange sweater and flared denim jeans.
Martin’s role remains secret for now. In addition to the aforementioned actors, the cast is rounded out by Penelope Cruz, Kieran Culkin, Jude Law, and Beverly D’Angelo.
The film was also a dot-connecting moment for Martin, as fans may remember Wilson and Paltrow co-starring in The Royal Tenenbaums — a full 25 years ago in 2001.
Paltrow also famously dated Wilson’s younger brother Luke from 2001 to 2002 after meeting while filming a Wes Anderson movie.
Not much is known about “Paris Paramount.”
But in 2023, Meyers gave his followers a brief synopsis of the film on Instagram, saying the film was “about a group of people making movies and the magic and mystery of what we do.”
The film is scheduled to be released in December 2027.
Although this is Martin’s first major acting project, she’s not entirely new to being in front of the camera. The 22-year-old has long been in the news as an up-and-coming fashion model and has appeared in numerous major campaigns.
In May, she unveiled her latest campaign with Chloé, featuring summer floral prints and effortless eyelet sets.
“It’s such an honor to work with Chloe,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “My dream has come true!!!!!!”
In addition to the Chloé ad, Martin has also done other major shoots and collaborated with fashion brands.
The up-and-coming talent also had a cameo in HBO’s “Rooster,” starring Steve Carell, in March.
