Anne Hathaway announced her pregnancy on Instagram. Hathaway has shared public comments about whether or not she will have more children. This is her third child with husband Adam Shulman.
On Friday, Anne Hathaway revealed in a new Instagram post that she is pregnant with her third child with husband Adam Shulman. In the video the star shared, she wears a white long-sleeved top and matching floor-length skirt. She entered the frame covered, her arms down to reveal her pregnant belly, and smiled for the camera before running off.
“X, baby, I’m your X,” Hathaway wrote in the caption.
Shulman and Hathaway welcomed their first son, Jonathan Rosebank Shulman, in March 2016. Hathaway praised Shulman’s parenting skills a few months later on Entertainment Tonight.
“As expected, he’s great,” she said.
In 2019, she announced her pregnancy again on Instagram, saying, “It’s not for a movie…#2.”
She also hinted at her infertility treatments, writing, “All jokes aside, to all of you going through infertility and pregnancy hell, please know that neither of my pregnancies were a straight line. Sending you some special love.”
Their second son, Jack, was born in November of the same year.
In a 2020 interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Hathaway was asked about having more children.
“Well, I don’t know,” she said. “I don’t know. Like, sometimes I’m like, ‘Yes, absolutely,’ and other times I’m like, ‘The world is too scary.’ I think I have two healthy kids, which is really great. So I don’t really know yet.”
The two married in 2012, when Hathaway was 29, but met in 2008. Hathaway said in a February 2013 Harper’s Bazaar UK cover story that she told a mutual friend, “I’m going to marry this guy. I think he thought I was a little crazy. I’m a little crazy, too, but I’m also a kind person.”
