And babies make 5!
Anne Hathaway is pregnant with her third child and showed off her butt while on vacation in Saint-Tropez.
In photos obtained exclusively by Page Six, the “The Devil Wears Prada 2” star is seen at Jardin Tropezina Beach on the Cote d’Azur on Wednesday with her husband Adam Schulman, their two sons, and close friends.
For the family outing, Hathaway wore a multicolored bikini and paired it with a straw hat and oversized sunglasses to protect her face from the sun.
She covered her stomach with a towel and then put on a white cover-up.
At one point, she was also seen chatting with friends while holding a towel over her body before the group headed down the pier to climb onto the boat.
The group was then spotted walking through town again.
The 43-year-old actress confirmed the news on Instagram on Friday, captioning the post, “x baby, I’m your x.”
In the video, the actress stepped into the frame with her arm resting on her stomach. A second later, she moved her arms to reveal her bump and dashed away from the cameras.
Hathaway’s pregnancy is apparently taking a summer break after working on five movies that have been released or are scheduled to be released this year.
So far, she has been on the press tour for The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Mother Mary, before returning to work with The Odyssey, The End of Oak Street and Verity.
Among her roles in the new film, Hathaway prioritizes motherhood.
The “Princess Diaries” actress married Shulman in 2012 and added to their family four years later.
She welcomed her first son, Jonathan, in 2016, and three years later gave birth to her son, Jack.
When announcing her pregnancy with Jack, the actress opened up about her fertility treatments.
Taking a selfie of her pregnancy in the mirror, she captioned the Instagram post: “To everyone going through infertility and pregnancy hell, please know that neither of my pregnancies were straight. Sending you some special love.”
In 2024, Hathaway revealed in an interview with Vanity Fair that she suffered a miscarriage in 2015.
Despite her struggles, she was open about having more children but wasn’t sure in 2020 due to the world situation.
In 2022, she told WSJ, “I didn’t feel like I fully landed here and fully belonged here until I became a mother. Not that I lacked integrity, but I started wanting to be completely true to my word on every level.”
“It meant stopping all the nonsense that was going on inside of me. And it’s just a little break that I give myself sometimes when I know I’m not my best self,” she added.
