Anna Kendrick previously claimed that an “aggressive” Katy Perry inappropriately touched her cleavage.
During an appearance on Conan O’Brien’s talk show of the same name in 2014, the “A Simple Favor” actress recalled her “weird” encounter with the “Fireworks” singer at the Grammy Awards.
“Katy Perry tapped my cleavage with her finger. It was a weird night,” Kendrick said during the interview, as the audience erupted in laughter.
“She’s very mature,” she added.
When O’Brien, 62, asked if Perry was “just going for it,” Kendrick, 40, replied that her plunging Azzaro dress was “kinda asking for it.”
“I would have been a little sad if no one else had done it,” she joked.
The talk show host said he wanted to stay on topic about this “unplanned” moment between the “Pitch Perfect” actress and Perry.
“Picture the scene. So you’re standing still and Katy Perry walks by and (makes a noise and points her finger down)?” he asked.
“I’ve met her before, and she’s…aggressive. I like that,” Kendrick replied.
Page Six reached out to representatives for Perry and Kendrick, but did not immediately receive a response.
The “Woman of the Hour” star’s interview has resurfaced after the 41-year-old pop star denied sexually assaulting Ruby Rose 20 years ago.
Last weekend, the “Orange Is the New Black” alum, also 40, took to a thread to claim that the incident happened at a nightclub in Melbourne, Australia, when she was in her 20s.
“I was sexually assaulted by Katy Perry at Spice Market Nightclub in Melbourne. Who knows what she’ll think,” Rose wrote in response to Complex Music’s post about the “Dark Horse” songstress’ reaction to Justin Bieber’s Coachella 2026 performance.
Rose claimed that Perry “pulled her underwear to the side, rubbed her disgusting vagina in my face, my eyes snapped open and I vomited projectile at her.”
“Then I threw up on her and I told the story in public, but I didn’t know how else to deal with it, so I turned it into ‘a funny little drunk story,'” the actress claimed.
“She then agreed to help me get a U.S. visa. So I kept it a secret, but I told her she wasn’t a nice person,” Rose added.
“I’m so grateful that I took the time to find my voice, but this just goes to show how impactful trauma and sexual assault can be. Thank you for meeting me,” Rose claimed in a follow-up message.
Perry’s rep denied Rose’s claims in a statement to Page Six.
“The claims Ruby Rose has spread on social media about Katy Perry are not only completely false, they are dangerous and reckless lies,” her representative said.
“Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious allegations on social media against various individuals, allegations that have been repeatedly denied by those named,” the statement continued.
Perry shared a cryptic message on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday after denying Rose’s claims.
“I love you,” the hitmaker wrote under an image of her 2013 hit song “By the Grace of God.” The song’s lyrics specifically focus on survival and recovery.
