Big, bold and beautiful are three words that actress and producer Margot Robbie uses to describe her Hollywood influence.
But they also became a mantra for her current Press Tour wardrobe.
Last night, 35-year-old A-Lister appeared in the vintage-inspired Muggler and starred Colin Farrell at the New York City premiere of the film “A Big, Bold, Beautiful Journey.”
Inspired by Mugler’s Spring Summer 1998 Couture Collection, the Re/editor features black and snow corset gowns from a French fashion house with necklines and thigh-high slits that plunge on either side.
The lobby was decorated with gold bangles, earrings and rings by all jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz.
The disassembled style with lingerie roots is consistent with the trend of wearing underwear as outerwear, a dominant feature of the red carpet in recent years.
Last week, Robbie appeared in two ensembles that were barely there, promoting the film in London.
Her nude bra and skirt set also showed her departure from the Mugler Re/Edit Capsule from the 2023 “Barbie” era dressing.
Later that night, the lobby was once again surprised by a sparkling see-through gown from the 2025 Armani Private Couture Collection. That was a fitting respect for Armani, who recently passed away at the age of 91.
“Bold and Beautiful Journey” will be held at the theater on Friday, September 19th.
