Thompson plays his father, Albert Crown.

His past TV credits include “Mare in East Town” and “For Life,” but he has also appeared in films such as “Up to 2”, “Till”, “The 355” and “21 Bridges.” Thompson is a very successful stage actor and received a Tony Award nomination in 2017 for his work in the play “Jitty.” He won the Drama Desk Award for his outstanding solo performance in “Waldorf’s Satchmo” in 2014, and in 2015 he received a special award from the organization.
