“White Lotus” star parker posey and Jason Isaacs have confirmed that the fourth season of HBO Vacation Doramedy will take place in southern France, but neither are sure their characters will return.
“Mike (White) is now in southern France, and that’s what we’re going to do for season 4,” Posey told E! On the Emmy’s red carpet. The actor who played the Southern housewife Victoria Ratliff in season 3 added, “I don’t know if I’m there or not.”
Posey joked that Jennifer Coolidge’s longtime character Tanya McCoid could even return to the hallucination sequence.
“When you’re on the top of a mountain – people can hallucinate spirits. I think Coolidges can come back depending on where they are, like the Alps,” she said.
Posey’s on-screen husband Jason Isaacs, who played the beloved dad and drug-added white-collar Timothy Ratliff, also confirmed the location of “White Lotus” season 4. “We’d be lucky if they could stay with Howard Johnson,” he said.
HBO declined to comment on the location of “The White Lotus” season 4.
It’s unclear when the production will begin, as creator Mike White has shown that he’ll take a little break before he puts the pen on paper for the new season.
The third season of “The White Lotus,” travelling from Koh Samui to Bangkok, set a record of viewers for the series. Season 2 took place in Sicily, with the first season taking place in Maui. With each season, Four Seasons Resort is decorated as a prestigious luxury hotel.
Variety defeated the news of the update of the fourth season in January, weeks before the season 3 premiere.
All three seasons of “White Lotus” follow a group of troubled vacationers who unleash the worst and most privileged impulses at the idyllic White Lotus resort. Each season features one or more mysterious deaths.
“The White Lotus” is an executive produced by White, David Bernad and Mark Kamine.
