Hollywood loves Hollywood! Seth Rogen took Emmy home on Sunday night and played the role of Studio Head Mattremic on Apple TV+’s “The Studio.”
“I literally prepared nothing. I won anything in my life,” Rogen said as he won the trophy at Peacock Theatre. He then thanked his cast and crew, his wife and agents, but he didn’t know who else could name him. “I don’t know what to say. This is very good. Thank you. Thank you to everyone.”
Coincidentally, despite the fact that the entire “studio” episode was about exactly that, Rogen did not name the studio’s head in his speech.
Rogen was nominated along with Adam Brody (“No one wants this”), Jason Segel (“Shrinkage”), Martin Short (“Building Murder Only”) and Jeremy Allen White (“Bear”).
The victory wasn’t so surprised by the rest of the world, as the comedy created and starring Rogen has dominated the awards season. “The first season is the biggest nomination ever in the comedy series), and “The Studio” filmed nine trophies at the Creative Arts Ceremony last weekend.
Along with Rogen, “The Studio” was created by Evan Goldberg, Peter Huick, Alex Gregory and Frida Perez. This series closely and pleases Hollywood as a business. This is a topic that has been sparked by some viewers.
“I think I’ve been contacted by almost every head of every major studio every day. It’s like, ‘This is great, but it’s very traumatic to see.'” “It’s really an industry we love.” It’s written in terms of people who can’t deny that our dreams have come true in many ways for this industry, but it’s very frustrating and worse. You are always watching people make choices that are against their own love for films. ”
