Michelle Dockery unveiled her stunning London townhouse on a new video tour, revealing “most Downton Abbey” she owns.
Dockery, 43, who starred as Mrs. Mary Talbott in the hit British series, toured the unique home in a new video interview with Architectural Digest, released on Tuesday, September 9th.
The home features eclectic art collections, large book cases, herringbone wooden floors, intricate crown moldings, marble bathtubs and plenty of lush ornamental plants. Among her favorite items at home was “family heirlooms,” and she said the dockery was inherited from her grandmother.
She then opened a drawer of a small piece of small walnut wooden furniture to reveal what was inside. “And it’s probably the most Downton Abbey I own. It’s filled with beautiful silverware, so we tend to use it on Christmas and special occasions,” she shared.
Vintage silverware was organized along the teal blue velvet interior of the drawer. “That’s why I’m known to polish my silverware from time to time,” she said with a laugh.
The actress also shared plenty of Downton Abbey Easter eggs on display at her home on the set of the award-winning show. “This photo is from Nick Briggs’ first series at Downton Abbey, and it’s probably about the only image I have in my home as Lady Mary in Downton,” she said.
She also shared a unique way of choosing to display the Guild Awards for Screen Actors (SAG). The cast has achieved outstanding performances in the ensemble of the 2013 and 2016 drama series.
“We got some, and this one has miniature pants on our head,” Dockery explained when he exhibited the SAG Award trophy. “I did theatre a few years ago and it was kind of a joke, but my dresser gave me a little tiny Barbie pants and that’s where they live now.”

She then shared one item she took from the Downton Abbey set. “And actually, the only thing I got from Downton Abbey was this little dog. Some people recognize it from the station scene when Mary gives this to Matthew before he sets out for war,” Dockelly said.
She continued her talk about how the little toy resembles the dog Alfie. “And I am angry at this because it was so long ago that I had little knowledge of giving birth to a dog that would look like this in the future.
