Look at what they let her do.
Court documents obtained Friday say Taylor Swift has allegedly agreed to give evidence in the legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Bardoni.
Singer, 35, abdicates, but only if the actor’s legal team persuades the judge to extend the deadline for testimony to be held.
Erin S. Garofalo, a lawyer for the Jane the Virgin alumni, denied asking Judge Lewis J. Liman to “a 30-day extension of the blanket for the cut-off date of discovery.”
Instead, the lawyer said, “The parties to Wayfarer requested an agreement solely to obtain Taylor Swift’s depository in the week of October 20-25.
The Grammy Award winner, whose “The Life of a Showgirl” album will be released on October 3rd, is “can’t” in advance.
Swift and Baldoni representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
However, Lively’s lawyers are pushing back the deposit request with a new submission obtained by page six on Friday. They argue that Bardoni’s team has plenty of time to arrange time to reject Swift before the discovery deadline and question whether the pop superstar actually agreed to abdicate.
“In this latest effort, the Wayfarer defendant has not specifically been founded.
Swift appears to have “accepted” to sit for deposit between October 20th and 25th (approximately three).
(A few weeks after the end of fact-finding on the issue), the court said.
“Even so, even if they acquire the defendant’s representative at face value, they are not close to establishing a valid reason for the relief they are requested.”
Swift was first dragged into Paris Lively’s legal war when 41-year-old Bardoni referenced the pop star in a lawsuit in January and denounced his “it’ll end with us” co-stars’ delinquent and horrifying tor co-stars.
Bardoni filed shortly after suing him for alleged sexual harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, violation of emotional distress, violation of privacy and loss of wages.
He claimed in his submission that vibrant called her and her husband Ryan Reynolds the “dragon” who defended her in a creative battle.
This made me hear that the “Bad Blood” singer felt “used” but she felt that she was “not grateful to be introduced.”
When Swift was summoned as a witness in May, the songwriter rep came back to the idea of what it had to do with what it had to do with the August 2024 film controversy, plus allowing Swift to use “My Tears Ricochet.”
The spokesman pointed out, “Taylor Swift never stepped into the set of this film, was not involved in the cast or creative decisions, she didn’t win the film, she didn’t see any edits about the film, nor even “end with us” until a few weeks after it was released.”
The subpoena were removed in the same month.
Additionally, the judge abandoned Bardoni’s case in June, but the drama of him and Lively is furious in the case of a “Gossip Girl” alumni.
More recently, Bardoni has been hit with new harassment claims by unknown individuals about “repeated negative interactions” and “verbal abuse.” Baldoni representatives did not respond to requests for comments page regarding the new claim.
The scandal reportedly took a blow to Swift and Live’s friendship by claiming that the “Shallow” actress had not reached out to congratulate the bride on her engagement to Travis Kelse.
“(she) won’t go,” the insider insisted, explaining to Lively that “the bigger fish will be fryed.”
The 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end went down one knee shortly after filming Swift’s podcast debut on Jason Kels’ New Heights show in August.
The couple have been together since 2023, and the following year they made Lively and Reynolds (a multi-double date headline with 48-year-old Reynolds).
Lively’s friendship with Swift began in 2015.
