Viva Kids has acquired the animated feature “The Pout Pout Fish” in its broad theatrical release in North America scheduled for March 20, 2026.
The film follows two aquatic misfits on an impossible journey to save their home. Nick Offerman leads the cast of voices, featuring Nina Oyama, Miranda Otto, Remy Hey, Jordyn Sparks and Amy Sedaris.
Ricardo Kusso directs an adaptation based on a children’s book series written by Deborah Diesen and illustrated by Dan Hanna. Rio Harrington co-directors and Elise Allen, Ellie Tuffanny and Dominique Morris wrote the script.
