Open Reel, a leading Italian sales agent and production company, seized international sales rights for the San Sebastian bound “Dolores” by Marce Logomez (“Movie, Aspirin, Vulture”) and Maria Clara Escobar (“Destero”), sharing the trailer with exclusivity with variety.
Based on the script by the late Chico Teixeira, “Dolores” focuses on three generations of women, led by the 65-year-old widow and honorable Dolores, who restores gambling addicts. She is close to her granddaughter Duda (Ariane Aparecida), who works at a gun shop and seeks to emigrate to the US, but her relationship with her daughter Deborah (Narna Costa), who is waiting for her boyfriend to be released from prison, is rather tense.
The family drama was produced by Sara Silveira of Dezenove Som e Images, one of Brazil’s most well-known producers, and represented Brazil at the 2007 Oscars, including Gomes’ breakout Cannes selection debut, “Movie, Aspirin, Vulture,” and Berlale Main competition “by the caetanad and” Caetanad and “Caetano and by caetanad and by caetanad and by caetanad and oscars and by caetanado;Campo.”

“But three generations have to adjust their dreams to change the world together. There is no lonely change. It was a very important thing for us. It was the idea of the dialectics of the film,” they said.
The film aims to complete Teisheira’s acclaimed “Affection Trilogy,” which began with “Ausência” (2014), which began with “Ausência” (2014).
