Prince Harry says his father, Charles III, is doing something “great” after their important reunion.
The Duke of Sussex firmly provided the update before thanking reporters during his Invictus game reception on Wednesday, according to the daily newspaper.
He showed up cheerfully as he continued to rub his shoulders with the game’s corporate sponsors and government officials, the outlet added.
The royals reportedly arrived at the reception shortly after leaving their meetup with the king.
The Duke of Sussex representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Page 6.
Prince Harry arrived at Clarence House, Charles’ London home for a “private tea” early Wednesday, marking the first meeting in a long-standing reported feud.
The father-son duo chatted for just under an hour as it was much longer than the previous 30-minute chat in February 2024 after the sovereign announced his cancer diagnosis.
Harry, 40, arrived at the meeting in a black SUV.
Prince Harry was caught up in a controversial family feud between his father, 76, and his brother, Prince William, as he and his wife, Meghan Markle, resigned from royal duties in 2020.
After moving to Montecito, California, Harry and the Duchess of Sussex leaked royal secrets in several bomb interviews about the royal family.
Harry even shared details of his feud with his father and brother in his 2023 memoir “Spare.”
The rift appears to have been further driven by the Prince’s legal battle to revive publicly funded security while in Britain.
Prince Harry previously claimed that he was unfairly treated when he was stripped of his security details after resignation. He also claimed that his father had the power to resolve the situation for him.
However, Harry recently attempted to repair his relationship with the royal family.
Last month, reports surfaced that he had been with his father when he visited London for the annual Welchild Awards on September 8th.
“No one is pretending that the broader family problems have been resolved, but this starts with Charles and Harry,” the source told the Mirror at the time.
“For the first time in a long time, there’s a real sense that reconciliation is within reach.”
