Stop pointing your angry finger

Jimmy Kimmel went to social media to shave the assassination of Donald Trump’s ally Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist who died at the age of 31 after being shot at a university event in Utah. One of Trump’s Hollywood’s most vocal opponents, Kimmel advised his followers to stop by “angry finger pointing” shortly after Kirk’s death.

“Can I agree that shooting another person one day, instead of an angry finger pointing, is a horrifying monster?” Kimmel wrote on Instagram. “On behalf of my family, we send love to Kirks and to all the children, parents and innocent people who have been victims of meaningless gun violence.”

Kirk was the co-founder of Turning Point USA, a nonprofit political advocacy group that supported Trump in the 2024 presidential election. He was shot in the head during a discussion with a college student at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. Kirk was soon rushed to the hospital by his safety. His death was announced by Trump about the true society.

“The great and even legendary Charlie Kirk is dead,” writes Trump. “I didn’t understand and had the center of the youth of the United States better than Charlie. He was with everyone, especially me, and now he’s not with us anymore. Melania and my sympathy went out to his family with his beautiful wife Erica. Charlie, we love you!”

Kimmel frequently criticizes Trump on his ABC late-night talk shows, and Trump often fires at Kimmel in the true society. Trump has shown over the summer that “Jimmy Kimmel Live” will become the next late-night show after CBS gave an x to Stephen Colbert and “Late Show.” Kimmel later announced on the August “Sara Silverman Podcast” that he had acquired Italian citizenship during Trump’s second season.

“I have obtained Italian citizenship,” Kimmel said. “What’s going on (with Trump) is as bad as what I thought it was. It’s very bad. It’s incredible. I think it’s probably even worse than he wanted.”
