TJ Holmes and Amy Lobach bully plans to expand their families through adoption
Holmes said that couples’ conversations about having their children together have become more frequent these days, but it’s him who usually develops the topic.
“The reaction is something you just heard,” he said on an episode of the “Amy & TJ” podcast on Monday. “She laughs at me. She laughs at me.”
“The person you are with – maybe you’re old enough to have an advanced baby – I need to write a letter to my damn column to get some advice on what to do whenever you laugh at each time you raise your child’s potential,” he said.
Robach, 52, explained that the reason her reaction is laughing is due to the fact that she was told in 2013 that she was “out of the baby-making business” after a breast cancer diagnosis.
“It was devastating to hear,” she recalled. “I can laugh now because the ship was sailing a long time ago. So I laugh. Yes, that was painful to hear at 40. But I’m so happy it’s peace and I have two children.”
“I’m telling this really – my girl has just set off – but having Sabine (Holmes’s 12-year-old daughter) is a joy. I’m absolutely, completely grateful and really looking forward to having that sweetness, like that child. It’s amazing.”
Each duo has children from a previous marriage. Robach shares 22-year-old Ava and 19-year-old Annalize with their first husband, Tim McIntosh. Holmes, 48, has three children. daughter Brianna and son Jaden and his first wife Amy Ferson and daughter Sabine and second wife Marily Fevig;
The co-host had just agreed to consider the blended family as one and treat each other’s children as their own, but Holmes admitted that having a “own” child has been heavier on his heart recently.
“It’s not even a problem seeing you and your girls. “It really makes you want to make your own units when you’re with (someone). And yes, those units come from other works and places that sometimes come with you, but you can have them.”
Robach agreed that the “unit” that comes with sharing a child with a partner has a “natural desire” but did not add any more about her feelings about the possibility of adopting it.
The former “Good Morning America” host was first romantically linked in November 2022 when he was accused of having several months of events behind their respective partners’ backs. (Robach was still married to Schwe and Holmes.
The “GMA3” co-host was later fired from his position at ABC and divorced his spouse in the next few months.
With a shocking twist, Shue and Phoebig debuted their romance in December 2023. Discovering that their exe was on a date revealed that journalists were “smoking” because they obscured their podcast debut.
Both couples are still strong. Holmes hinted that he and Robach were secretly married in May after the couple sparked rumours of an engagement. As for Shue and Pheubig, Lovebird moved together in February.
“[They]moved together,” the source told us every week at the time. “It’s not vengeance. That’s true.”
“Marriage is a big step, so I’m careful and careful because it hurt the last time,” the insider added. “It’s more important that they just fall in love, live together, travel and enjoy each other.”
