Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck “remained on friendly terms” a year after their divorce, according to a new report.
“What’s good between Ben and Jennifer, despite them not being together anymore,” a source told people on Monday.
The former couple finalised their divorce in February, six months after Lopez filed for divorce from her “Zigiri” co-star.
At the time, the singer listed the dates of separation in April 2024.
However, the duo “plans to stay in each other’s lives.” “The most important thing for both parties is raising children in a supportive environment.”
In particular, Lopez has 17-year-old twins named Emme and Max, while Affleck is the father of 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel (13).
“The kids are still really close,” the outlet reported Monday. “They have the same group of friends, they look at each other and they talk all the time.”
The insider insisted that Lopez and Affleck “make sure the kids know they’re getting along well.”
Another claimed that Lopez was “a great mom and always gave Ben’s children the same love,” adding, “Even though contact with Ben is now sporadic, we allow the kids to spend time together whenever they want.”
Reps for Lopez and Affleck did not immediately respond to Page 6’s request for comment.
Over the weekend, the actress created a headline to go shopping with her ex-husband’s youngest child in Beverly Hills, California.
According to photos obtained on page 6, the pair came out on Saturday and had lunch together.
They last saw us shopping together in August 2024.
As for Affleck, the actor took his ex-wife’s children to the premiere of “Accountant 2” in April, praised Lopez as a “magnificent” person.
“(She’s) great for my kids (and a) has a huge, continuous relationship with (them),” the Oscar winner told Entertainment Tonight at the time.
“I love her child,” he continued. “They’re amazing. I’m excited that her kids are with me. …The relationship you have with them is the joy of my life.”
Affleck said he was trying to make his “best, certainly” a “really good dad.”
