Pop Princess Sabrina Carpenter led her predecessor Britney Spears in last night’s VMAS 2025 performance.
26-year-old carpenter Jared Elner put her style on the decorated piece bare her middle.
The lower half of her outfit was as well as making a statement. The “Espresso” singer layered small black sequin hot pants over sparkly tights.
Carpenter styled his performance with a shiny black Mary Jane pump and bright purple eyeshadow.
Their appearance paid tribute to Spears’ famous diamond outfit designed by respected designer Bob McKee, and honoured the Dream Tour in a 2001 dream. Mackie created the outfit for the 1981 Las Vegas show “Jubiley!”
Spears wore a gorgeous bra along with one diamond arm band and underwear. All of these were sold in April for $78,000 by Julian’s auction.
And the sparkly appearance wasn’t the only similarity. Like Spears, a carpenter who took place in the “rain” production during a Sunday night award show.
Carpenter was like his outfit last night, changing multiple outfits during the broadcast.
In addition to this wrapped bra moment, the pop star posed on the red carpet of red decorated Valentino gowns and fuzzy light purple shawls. She then took to the stage during the show with a rhinestone-covered top that was off her shoulder.
Her multicolored, beds-filled work by Bob Mackey, also a hit, welcomed from the designer’s spring collection in 1986.
She was a big winner on Sunday night too. Carpenter has won awards for Best Pop Artist, Best Album and Best Visual Effects.
