MGM+’s “Godfather of Harlem,” Paramount+’s “PD True,” and Netflix’s “American Murder: Gabby Petito” were among the winners of Saturday’s fourth annual Clue Awards. The event, hosted by ICE-T, took place at the annual Crimcon event in Denver.
Among the winners were the families of Liberty Germany and Abigail Williams (the victim of the Delphi murder) and Lt. Col. Jerry Holman of the Indiana State Police, who won the 2025 Crime Fighter of the Year Award, announced last year’s recipient John Welsh.
Also, Sgt. Julissa Trapp of Anaheim, California, was named “America’s Biggest Detective” of 2025 for his work on the case of serial killer Stephen Dean Gordon and accomplice Fran Cano. Additionally, Crime Weekly, a true crime podcast hosted by Derrick Levasser and Stephanie Harlow, was voted by fans in the honor of “Creator of the Year” at The Clue Awards.
This first year’s script series was included in the competition, with “The Godfather of Harlem” winning an outstanding script series award.
