Taylor Swift will not return to the red carpet this Sunday for the MTV VMA. The star was last seen at the show in 2024.
Taylor Swift has won the award and has chosen to skip this year’s MTV VMAS in Elmont, New York. The singer will not appear on the red carpet at The Buzzy Music event on Sunday. Report.
I understand the choice of Swift. She was only one category this year, but the main one is: Artist of the Year. Her upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl will be released on October 3rd and qualify for the award, so next year will be even bigger for the star.
Her fiance, Travis Kels, could also miss the VMA as Kansas City chief plays the Los Angeles Chargers in San Paolo, Brazil on September 5th. It is still unknown if Swift will be present.
Swift spoke about Kelce’s New Heights Podcast last month about spending his time off the tour. (She finished her ERAS tour in December 2024.)
“It’s great because I’m regaining my hobby,” she said. “When I was on the tour, the only thing I had the bandwidth was, ‘What is this week’s acoustic mashup? How do I say welcome to the ERAS tour in Portuguese?” That was the only thing that took over my brain space. ”
Kelse cuts, subtly revealing that he and Swift live together. “It was a lot of fun seeing what was actually around the house, Taylor,” he said.
“It’s like saying that all my hobbies fall under the hobbies I had in the 1700s. I got all the grandma shit,” she said, citing sewing and baking among her favorite activities.
“I love drawing, I love cooking. Every six months my baking obsession changes,” she continued. “Now we are very deep in the obsession of sourdough that took over my life.”
