The 69th BFI London Film Festival has announced its 2025 programme. This is front-facing by Jesse O’Farrell’s “Hamnet”, Jesse Buckley and Paul Mezcal, and Bradley Cooper’s third directorial effort “This?”
“Moss & Freud,” a biopic starring James Lucas supermodel Kate Moss, starring Ellie Bamber, will also win a world premiere at the festival. The series featuring Matt Smith from Isabella Ecrov’s Nick Cave novel “The Death of Bunny Munro,” is set to premiere at the Series Strand festival.
As previously revealed, the third installment of Leanne Johnson’s “Knife Out” trilogy, “Wake Up Dead Man,” will host this year’s festival, with Noah Banbach starring George Clooney, Adam Sandler and Laura Dern, along with Kristen Stewart’s directorial debut, “Water of Water.”
Julia Jackman’s “100 Night Hero” based on Isabel Greenberg’s graphic novel will close the festival.
This year’s BFI LFF includes 247 features. Six of these will be world premieres, 10 will be international premieres, and 11 will be European premieres.
LFF will also host the accompanying industry forum this year, including a programme of filmmaker talks featuring Daniel Daylewis, Yorgos Lantimos, Richard Linklater and others.
