A brief appearance by Megumi Fushiguro, Yuki tsukumo and Maki Zen’in concludes the teaser.
Mappa returns as an animation studio, with composition and script writing for director Shoda Goshozono and Seko’s Hiroshi Handling series. Yajima and Hiromi niwa provide character designs.
The Japanese voice cast includes Junya Enoki from Yuji Itadori, Yurumi Yuzuri Slowly, Nishikawa Fumi, and Ogawa Yugai from the hut.

The first anime season aired from October 2020 to March 2021, followed by a second season covering hidden inventory/fast deaths and the Shibuya Incident arc.
