Gordon Ramsay revealed that he had recently undergone surgery for skin cancer.
The 58-year-old celebrity chef shared the diagnosis in a post via Instagram on Saturday, along with photos taken following his medical procedures.
“I am so grateful for the incredible team of Skin Associates and their quick and reactive work to remove this basal cell carcinoma!” he wrote in the caption.
Ramsay then advised his followers.
One of the photos shows the side profile of the “Hells Kitchen” star, with a large bandage above it. In another snap, he still had a seam near his ears.
People in the comments section of the post sent Ramsay their well-class and prayers.
“I’m glad it was sorted! Speedy recovery chef 🙌❤~,” one person wrote, but another added.
One of the chef’s five children, daughter Holly Ramsay, simply cried out, “Love your love dad.”
It doesn’t seem like Gordon has a personal history of having some form of cancer in the past.
But last year, when he got involved in a horrifying bicycle accident, he scared yet another health.
In June 2024, the “Master Chef” star showed off a huge purple bruise on his torso after falling off his bike while riding in Connecticut.
Gordon once again provided a warning message to his fans by writing on Instagram at the time, “I’m lucky to be here.”
