Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson sparked speculation for a settlement after they found them on a flight to Las Vegas together.
The estranged couple was seen on a Southwest Airlines flight from Burbank, California to Vegas, with no children on Friday, reported TMZ.
A video shared by the outlet showed Simpson in a long red sweater dress on the runway where the plane sat in chasing Johnson.
Photos taken on the aircraft revealed that the two were sitting in the same row while they were flying. However, they seemed to maintain their distance by leaving open seats in the middle.
Once they landed in Sin City, the pair remained tightly closed to the current relationship situation.
However, Simpson revealed that he flew to Vegas to support his sister Ashley, who is driving away from Vegas’ residency in Venetian on Friday night.
Simpson’s representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Page 6.
“I Wanna Love You Forever” The 45-year-old diva announced her separation from Johnson, 45, in January, 10 years after her marriage.
“Eric and I have lived separately navigating the painful circumstances of marriage,” Simpson told people in a statement at the time.
“Our kids are the first to come and we are focused on what is best for them, and we are grateful for all the love and support that our path is coming.
At the time, sources said the couple’s division was due to “trust issues.”
“They were no longer on the same page, and that drove a wedge between them,” the insider shared.
Simpson has yet to disclose the reasons for the division. However, she hinted that in an interview with the parade earlier this month she would allow her husband to “mistakes.”
“I choose love because if I choose to resent or overwhelm the pain of it, I would fail,” Simpson told the outlet.
“And I had to choose love and people I loved through their mistakes. If I am going to love through my mistakes, I have to love others through their mistakes.”
