Devon Walker responded to support from Saturday Night Live fans after announcing he would be leaving the show after three seasons.

“Ah, My Boy” wrote a social media user who posted a photo of Walker with Michael Longfellow, who has left “SNL” three seasons later. “I want both of you to be the best,” the fans added, using sad faces and heart emojis.

Walker goes back to X and says, “Behave like we’re dead lol we’re just getting another job.”

Walker, famous for “SNL” for his impressions of Eric Adams and Michael Strahan, is one of four cast members who will not return for the show’s upcoming 51 seasons, and will premiere on NBC on October 4th. Even among all dysfunctions.

As a beginner in Season 50 wrote, Emile Wakim’s announcement, “I won’t be back in SNL next year. It was a gut punch that arrived, but I’m very grateful for the time I’ve had there,” Wakim wrote in his announcement. “Every time I scan a building, I think about how crazy it is to work there. It’s the most frightening, thrilling and rewarding experience of my life, and I miss all the wonderful people who work there felt like home.”

Longfellow wrote of his exit: “I’m not going back to the fourth season at SNL. I hope I was there. It was the best three years of my life. I feel grateful to the experience and everyone there. Lone gave me the biggest job in the world. Almost.”

On Thursday afternoon, Variety reported that Heidi Gardner also left “SNL” after eight seasons. She was the longest-tenered current female cast member of Season 50, and was known for her “weekend update” characters, including teenage film critic Bailey Gismart and Angel, and “all boxer girlfriends in every film about boxing.”

Saturday Night Live will return on NBC on October 4th.
