He was extremely depressed.
Sports commentator Joe Buck revealed that Travis Kelce was in a “puddle” of tears as he watched Taylor Swift walk down the aisle at her wedding on July 3.
“Travis was puddle-like watching his nieces come down the little ramp that they built,” Buck said about Travis’ brother Jason Kelce’s daughters on his podcast “Rate & Barrels” over the weekend.
“And, you know, when (Swift) went out, he was a puddle,” the NFL play-by-play announcer, 57, added.
Mr Buck acknowledged the couple’s vows were “long” but said they were “well written”.
“They were funny. They were sweet and emotional,” Buck said.
Travis and Swift, both 36, exchanged vows inside Madison Square Garden in New York City earlier this month.
Actor Adam Sandler officiated the garden-themed wedding, which was watched by more than 1,000 guests.
Selena Gomez, Bradley Cooper, girlfriend Gigi Hadid, Jennifer Lopez, Tom Cruise, Marcelo Hernandez and more attended the wedding, which adhered to a strict no-phone policy.
Both bride and groom wore Christian Dior haute couture designed by the brand’s creative director Jonathan Anderson.
At the reception, guests won luxury prizes including designer bags and Cartier watches.
A source told the Daily Mail that the “Bad Blood” singer broke down in tears during the tight end’s 20-minute vows when Travis “promised to protect her forever.”
Sources claimed the three-time Super Bowl champion appeared “nervous,” but “remained nervous” during his appointment with Swift.
Although the two have not been in the news for a while since the ceremony, they did attend the wedding of Travis’ former teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster and Laura Crook on July 10th.
Two days later, the NFL star was spotted arriving alone in Palm Beach, Florida, with the couple’s new dog.
