Wild things.
Jason Bateman has revealed he was detained overseas for being “drunken and disorderly” while wearing a “leopard costume”.
“I got arrested for drunken and disorderly conduct in Monaco wearing a nice little leopard costume that just came out of the casino,” the “Ozark” alum shared Monday on the “SmartLess” podcast with Sean Hayes and Will Arnett.
Bateman, 57, added: “Cheap champagne and a pocket full of chips.”
“I was just shaken up.”
The “Zootopia” voice actor did not reveal when he was arrested.
But Bateman has been sober since 2001, the same year he married his wife Amanda Anka.
In February, the “Arrested Development” alum said he stopped drinking because it caused “tension” with the actress, also 57.
“[She]didn’t ask me to completely pardon her, but it was kind of a back and forth,” he told The Hollywood Reporter at the time.
“I thought, ‘Well, I feel like I’m six months away from my[sobriety]ETA, but if I could land this plane now, it would be a lot less stressful, so I’ll just do it,'” Bateman added.
The Emmy winner revealed that while he abstains from alcohol and cocaine, he does smoke marijuana.
“I have friends who wear pretty cold bottoms, but I’m lucky enough to realize, ‘If I still want to achieve what I want to achieve, this is probably the limit,'” he told the magazine.
“I always knew that I wanted to have a lot of these boxes checked before I became a father and before I became a man with the career that I wanted. It wasn’t just something I wanted, but I also had a hunch that if I got the right job, I might be able to get it,” the “Horrible Bosses” star shared.
Bateman also said he wanted to be sober before becoming a father.
“I always knew that I wanted to check a lot of these boxes before I became a father and before I became a man with the career that I wanted. I felt like if I got the right job, maybe I could get it,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.
The actor and Anka have daughters Francesca, 19, and Maple, 14.
