Ella Langley is a quick thinker in emergencies.
The 27-year-old country star opened up to Morgan Wallen in Baltimore over the weekend, but soon after the start of her set, she realized she could be in a humiliating situation.
“Yesterday, during my 60-minute set in the pouring rain in a packed stadium, my entire dress unzipped during the second song,” Langley shared on her Instagram Story the next day.
But the “Choosin’ Texas” singer saved the day and saved her dignity by continuing the show wearing a Ravens football jersey over her frayed gown, much to the delight of the Baltimore crowd.
An oversized purple jersey hid the distressed parts of the dress, while a sassy pink fringed skirt peeked out from under the hem.
“He may have chosen Texas, but she chose Baltimore,” one TikTok user wrote, referring to a hit song from Langley’s album Dandelion.
Fans responded to the clip with humorous comments about wanting to see her in the jerseys of their local teams, which also included the Packers, Rams, Bills, Seahawks, and Cowboys.
One fan was excited and said, “She looks good no matter what she wears.”
It’s unclear who provided the Ravens jersey that saved the day, but there was speculation that a fan gave it to her because it had her last name engraved on the back and the number 26 (2026) on the front.
Langley isn’t just looking for quick wardrobe fixes.
She also currently holds three of the top four spots on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart.
“Choosin’ Texas” is No. 1, “Be Her” is No. 3, and her duet with Warren, “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” is No. 4 (Taylor Swift holds the No. 2 spot with “I Knew It, I Knew You” from “Toy Story 5”).
The Alabama native is also making headlines for her current collaboration with American Eagle, posing in denim shorts, white cowboy boots and a pile of hay bales.
Langley joined American Eagle’s roster of ambassadors in February, becoming the store’s newest “denim darling” after the brand’s partnership with actress Sydney Sweeney went viral.
