Patrick Feely and Pierce O’Neill will star in Prime Video’s version of Chloe Walsh’s The Boys of Tommen, with Jamie Schneider and James Craven reprising their roles.
Eoin Macken, who plays Teddy Lynch, Roisin Gallagher, who plays Marie Lynch, and Amy Huberman, who plays Edel Kavanagh, will also join the cast as the parents.
“Boys of Tommen” is set in an Irish private school and depicts the forbidden love between Johnny Kavanagh, a star rugby player who is about to turn professional, and Shannon Lynch, a shy rookie girl.
“Both teenagers are hiding secrets. Johnny suffers a potentially career-ending injury, and Shannon has a troubled and violent home life,” the synopsis reads. “Through a secret and tense connection, two teenagers from opposite worlds fight against the odds and find a way to save each other.”

Johnny will be played by Connor Sanchez and Shannon will be played by Nancy Surridge.
The cast also includes James O’Donoghue as Joey Lynch, Sophie McGibbon as Aoife Molloy, Amelia May as Claire Biggs, John Hewson as Gerald Gibson, Indy Lewis as Lizzie Young, Alex Dunn as Hugh Biggs, Dixie Egerix as Katie Wilmot, Daisy Jacob as Vera Wilkinson, Jonathan Heed as Cormac Ryan, and Cathal. Oh Shochan plays Ronan McGarry.
Brendan Canty (The Christie) is directing the series for the Ballylaggin set, which is currently in production. Adapted by Poppy Kogan (The Good Girl’s Guide to Murder), it is based on the first two novels in Walsh’s bestselling series, Binding 13 and Keeping 13. Casting: Kara Strong.
“Boys of Tommen” is produced by Wiip in association with Amazon MGM Studios. Metropolitan offers local production services.
Cogan will executive produce alongside Walsh, Whip’s Paul Lee, Hope Hartman and Sean Flanagan, Temple Hill’s Wyke Godfrey, Marty Bowen, James Seidman, Annika Patton, Drama Republic’s Greg Brennman and Deena Butt. Ingrid Goodwin will serve as series producer.
The YA adaptation is the latest in Prime Video’s stable of romance offerings, following Off Campus and Every Year After.
