Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey haven’t gone on a big honeymoon yet. Immediately after their wedding, Swift and Kelsea spent time with her brother Jason and sister-in-law Kylie in Montana before attending a wedding in California on July 10th. Kelsey has since been photographed alone in Florida.
Travis Kelce still has a little more than a week until Kansas City Chiefs training camp begins on July 29th. Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift have been enjoying time together since their July 3 wedding, but they haven’t been seen heading off on a big honeymoon. Instead, Kelce is going back to work, and Swift is almost completely under the radar.
Shortly after their New York wedding, Swift and Kelsey took a small family vacation. According to Entertainment Tonight and People, they went to Montana. A source told Entertainment Tonight: “After the wedding, Taylor and Travis headed to the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana to relax for a few days.”
People magazine reported that Swift was spotted in the state with Kelsey’s brother Jason Kelsey and sister-in-law Kylie Kelsey. The newlyweds then traveled to California for JuJu Smith-Schuster and Laura Crook’s wedding on July 10, where they were photographed attending. Swift wore a Markarian dress.
Smith-Schuster previously played with Kelce for the Kansas City Chiefs, and he and Crook attended Kelce and Swift’s wedding in New York City. (Crook drew particular attention for wearing the same Sau Lee dress as Swift’s childhood best friend Abigail Anderson Berard.)
From there, Kelsey headed to Palm Beach, Florida. He was seen arriving on July 12 with a white Samoyed dog rumored to be his and Swift’s pet. Swift has not been seen with him.
Yesterday, Kelsey was photographed in Florida training for the upcoming football season. (He also trained there last year.)
The pair haven’t talked about their wedding or honeymoon plans, but on July 7, a source close to the couple revealed to People magazine a little about what they’ve been up to ahead of training camp. “They’re really excited to enjoy a few weeks of newlywed life before football season resumes,” the source said.
It’s unclear whether Swift and Kelsea plan a private trip before July 29, but the couple has taken several secret vacations together in the past. Previous trips, photos of which were later published, include a trip to the Bahamas, a trip to Italy, and a winter vacation in Montana.
Swift is very skilled at getting in and out of places unnoticed, and said it was her best spy skill in an interview with BBC Radio 2 in October.
“Put me in the trash and roll with me, I don’t care,” she said. “Honestly, all I can fit in is my wallet. Sometimes I can’t deal with it (paparazzi and attention), but then I don’t deal with it. I just dig a tunnel under every building I go into and fly in through a skylight.”
